Design has always been my passion. I am infatuated with color, textures, patterns, style and how it all blends together. I even taught myself to sew with the help of a neighbor when I was about 8 so that I could create doll clothes for my Barbie collection.
That joy morphed into a love of creating home environments that were artistic and fresh, and with a family of 7 and a big house I had plenty of rooms to work with and a Mom who was blessedly very encouraging and creative herself so it was a great launchpad for my design life.
I went to College as a dual major of Retail and Interior Design and knew while at Syracuse University that I wanted to open my own business. I graduated and rented my location in Saratoga Springs for my store, Frivolous, skipping my graduation to be able to open in time for the summer season.
My fondness for fashion and design morphed into home décor and furniture, antiques and everything related to creating a winsome curated home. After 24 years and 3 stores, I made the decision to sell my business to be able to watch my daughter grow up and have the time with her that I craved. I have concentrated on custom interiors for discerning clients with unique finds from the Brimfield Antique Show, stunning. comfortable furniture from forays to the Highpoint Market, rich color, and textured accessories from all over our artistic planet. My goal is to understand and create the spaces that reflect what your vision is and exceed your expectations.
I adore my profession and it is so gratifying to immerse myself in work that evolves and excites me always.

For when it needs an overhaul.
For when it needs to be showcased.
